Chicken in Potato Baskets

Chicken in Potato Baskets~

So I am always trying to find ways to sneak vegetables in my meals as my little sis refuses to eat them. So this is a children’s favorite, potatoes and chicken!


Ingredients for chicken in potato baskets:
  • 2 cups of chicken (cube cut),
  • 2 tablespoons of butter,
  • 1 teaspoon of soya sauce,
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped oregano,
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger paste,
  • ½ teaspoon of garlic paste,
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper powder,
  • 1 cup of onion cubes,
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped green chili,
  • 3-4 pieces of large potatoes (Julian cut),
  • 1 piece of beaten egg,
  • 1 tablespoon of corn flour,
  • 2 pieces of tea strainer,
  • oil for frying,
  • salt according to taste.




Instructions for chicken in potato baskets:
  1. Fry the onions with the butter on a pan and pour the ginger-garlic paste and stir it some time and pour the chicken on it and stir it properly until the chicken is tender.
  2. Then pour the rest of the ingredients on the pan and stir it occasionally until the mixture or stuffing is fried and take it out and keep aside.
  3. Now rub the julian cut potato with the egg, salt, corn flour & black pepper then sprinkle the potato mixture on the tea strainer and put the other tea strainer on it and press it with the clip and deep fry it properly.
  4. Then take it out, open the clip and take the potato basket and fill with chicken stuffing and place it on a serving dish.
  5. Finally, serve the chicken in potato baskets coriander chutney with the coriander chutney and enjoy :) :)

Egg & Hog-Plum with Coconut Milk~

Coconut milk is the liquid that comes from the grated meat of a brown coconut. It should not be confused with coconut water. The color and rich taste of coconut milk can be attributed to the high oil content. Most of the fat is saturated fat. Coconut milk is a very popular food ingredient used in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Southern China and the Caribbean.

This is a wonderful recipe of egg & hog-plum with coconut milk. Its quick and very easy to make :) :)



Ingredients for egg & hog-plum with coconut milk:
  • 4 pieces of boiled eggs, 
  • 4 pieces of boiled plum, 
  • 1 cup of coconut milk, 
  • tablespoon of onion paste, 
  • ½ teaspoon of cumin paste, 
  • ½ teaspoon of garlic, 
  • teaspoon of sugar, 
  • ½ teaspoon of red chili powder, 
  • ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder,
  • 4-5 pieces of whole green chili, 
  • 2 pieces of cardamom, 
  • 1 tablespoon of onion beresta
  • oil according to need, 
  • salt according to taste.




Directions for egg & hog-plum with coconut milk:
  1. Heat the oil on a pan and fry the eggs & hog-plum lightly then take it out and keep aside. 
  2. Then pour all the spices on the pan and stir it some time till fragrant and pour the eggs, hog-plum & water, stir it and cook it with the lid. 
  3. When it is boiled properly you pour the coconut milk, sugar & cardamom and cook it more 2 minutes. 
  4. Then pour the green chili and stir it some time and spread the beresta on the pan then take it out and then pour on a serving dish. 
  5. Now serve the egg & hogplum with coconuts milk and enjoy :) :)

Chicken Lollipops

Chicken Lollipops~

These spicy, soy-marinated chicken wings get their elegant "lollipop" shape from a technique called frenching. This Chicken Lollipop Recipe is generally considered as a hors d’oeuvre or appetizer dish. Though not everyone may know, this chicken dish is made from chicken wings :D :D


Ingredients:
  • 150 g of chicken wings,
  • 20 g of ginger paste,
  • 20 g of garlic paste,
  • 60 g of cooking oil,
  • 10 g of salt,
  • 6 g of fresh coriander,
  • 5 g of green chili,
  • 5 g of black pepper,
  • 10 g of onion,
  • 15 g of flour,
  • 60 g of bread crumbs,
  • 10 g of cumin powder,
  • 1 piece of egg,
  • soya sauce as required.




Directions:
  1. First marinate chicken wings with pepper, salt, soy sauce, red chili powder, vinegar, garlic and green chilies for 1-2 hours.
  2. Remove wings from the marinade. Spread flour over the wings, than dip into egg and finally add bread crumbs.
  3. The wings are now ready for deep frying.
  4. Serve hot wings with warm peanut butter sauce and enjoy :) :)

Chicken Bird

Hey guys I tried something different here. Its crispy and super yummy…..now you guys tell e how it is? ;) :)


Ingredients:
  • 2 pieces of chicken breast (with wings), 
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard paste, 
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper powder, 
  • ½ teaspoon of tasting salt, 
  • 1 piece of egg, 
  • 2 tablespoons of flour, 
  • 1 cup of bread crumbs , 
  • ½ cup of mashed potatoes, 
  • tablespoon of butter, 
  • 4 pieces of cloves, 
  • salt according to taste.




Directions:
  1. Wash the chicken breast with the water very well and drain out the water properly. 
  2. Then rub it with the mustard paste, salt, lemon juice, black pepper & tasting salt and marinate for 1 hour. 
  3. Fried the mashed potatoes with the butter some time and stir it, take it out and keep aside. 
  4. Then rub the meat in the flour, dip in the beaten egg and then roll it on the bread crumbs and deep fry it until it is golden. 
  5. Then make the bird face with the mashed potato and the bird eye with the cloves. 
  6. Now serve it with some salad on a serving dish :) :)

Crispy Chicken Cutlets~

This recipe creates serious buzz in our home. I am making this recipe on a popular demand ;)


Ingredients:
  • 400 g of minced chicken, 
  • 2 teaspoons of ginger paste, 
  • 2 teaspoons of garlic paste, 
  • pieces of finely chopped green chili, 
  • 4 tablespoons of finely chopped onion, 
  • tablespoon of tabasco sauce, 
  • 1 tablespoon of soya sauce, 
  • 4 tablespoons of chopped spearmint, 
  • 2 teaspoons of corn flour, 
  • 4 pieces of egg white, 
  • ½ cup of flour, 
  • tablespoon of red chili powder, 
  • 1½ teaspoon of black pepper powder,
  • 4 cups of bread crumb, 
  • ½ teaspoon of sugar, 
  • 2 teaspoons of lemon juice, 
  • oil for frying, 
  • salt according to taste.





Directions:
  1. Mix the minced chicken with all the ingredients properly except the oil, eggs, bread crumb, flour, ½ teaspoon of black pepper powder & red chili powder and keep aside.
  2. Then mix the chili powder with the flour on a plate. Now make the cutlet by hand, roll them on the flour mixture and put them on a tray and keep in a refrigerator for some time.
  3. Now mix the egg whites with a little bit of salt & rest of the black pepper powder and beat very well and put the bread crumb on another plate.
  4. Then at first roll the cutlet with the bread crumb, then dip it in the beaten egg; repeat the process again.
  5. Now put them on the tray and keep them in a refrigerator for some time.
  6. Heat the oil on a pan and deep-fry them until the color is golden. Then strain the oil very well before taking out.
  7. Serve the crispy chicken cutlets on a serving dish with any kind of sauce as your choice.
